Alternative to kiwi for gmail11/27/2023 Just like your computer, your phone offers a variety of options to help you navigate the internet. But these are far from your only choices. On Android, Google Chrome (of course) takes pride of place, while iPhones rely on pre-installed versions of Apple’s Safari. That I could not get a reply from Kiwi Support as a paid subscription customer.More than half of the world’s website traffic comes from mobile devices, and we’re willing to bet a lot of that stems from the browsers built into Android and iOS phones. The app itself is OK and works OK, but there is absolutely no support Of course, during the pre-purchase period when I was asking questions about Kiwi prior to paying for it, their support system worked well and my pre-sale questions were promptly answered. If you're considering a subscription to Kiwi, I would advise you that their support team is not at all responsive, so if you encounter a problems with Kiwi, you'll be on your own with a product that doesn't work properly. It was obvious that their support team was not going to even reply to my request for help, let alone resolve the problem, which still exists, even though their automated system created a support ticket and number. Then later I tried a third time, still no replay. Thinking perhaps they were just really busy, I waited a couple of days, and tried again – nothing. But that said, an app is only as good as its support, and when I recently encountered a bug in Kiwi, I reached out to their support team and got no response. And while that's not inexpensive, it seems worth it to me for the features and benefits Kiwi provides. As it is now, it just opens in some arbitrary size that I then have to enlarge and deal with as a seperate application.Ĭomments: I have a paid subscription to Kiwi for Gmail that cost about $60/year and is only a month or two old. If it were to open as a tab in Kiwi, it'd respect whatever size that is currently set to. If it were to open in a browser, it'd automatically go full screen and respect my browser setup. Also, the new screen doesn't respect any size requirements I've provided to other windows. This means Kiwi now has multiple screens in my Windows taskbar making making switching back and forth somewhat cumbersome. For example, opening a calendar link prompts a new Kiwi window. I often wish "pages" would open in either some form of tab or in the browser window. It doesn't add any excessive functionality and is focused on just providing my Gmail as a program. One thing I wish Kiwi might do is prompt the user that a new email has arrived by altering the icon in the taskbar. Fans of dark mode disappoint sometimes.Ĭomments: Perfectly fine. Sometimes it freezes and I have to exit and restart this. Sometimes difficult to find unread emails. It doesn't come with more than 100 emails per view. there is some lag in a startup this is a minor thing. I like the colour theme because with the help of Kiwi can easily identify every account. Notification and integration are also good. I like the performance when switching between all services. Not only manage Google accounts but also gives the freedom to launch Google Slide, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets. Very cost-effective and manage all Google and Google Workplace accounts easily. They added Grammarly and Zoom features in the basic version. Kiwi gives me the freedom to access all my emails at the same time without a browser. I can manage all Google programs in one place. It's very easy to use and helpful when needed to switch many emails. Awesome software comes with excellent customer support. Kiwi is the best method to interact with all Google services. Comments: It gives me the power to handle all my Gmail in one place.
